| Description : | This wooden version consists of a straight stock, the ends are shaped and cut away which gives the oval handles an upturned or winged appearance. There is a triangle wedge cut out of the centre of the stock into which the cutter fits. The tangs of the cutter fit into tapered holes on the stock. The tangs are fit with nuts for adjusting. The front of the sole has a brass plate to resist wear. There is a small crack in one end of the handle and the cutter has some rust on it. |
