| Description : | This frame has a light brown veneer on the members and is rectangular shape. The front of the members have a common ogee molding. All the frame members are held together with one nail hammered into each corner. There is an insert with gesso over wood with gold leaf gilding. There is on the back two eye screws, one on each side with a wire leading from one to the other. This print is a stone lithograph. It is called by the title at the bottom 'THE TWO COMRADE (AFTER THE BATTLE)'. There is in the print many soldiers, some dead, some alive plus there is a dead horse and a live dog. There is some veneer missing from the frame. |
