| Description : | This combination angle softwood frame is finished in gesso, and in gold leaf. The members are 6.9cm in width. The flat sections have a multi-flute molding. The visible part of the print is 55.8cm x 30.8cm. There is a white paper in place of a mat. The name of the artist is written in the bottom left corner of the print 'G.W. BOHDE'. In the top left corner is 'THE PATH TO THE CHURCH,ETCHED BY FISHEL,ADLER AND SCHWARTZ, NEW YORK'. A blue-green silk material covers a round hanger at the rear. The gesso is chipping, and the top right corner appears to have been patched. The print has some faint sign of fading. |
