| Description : | A rectangularly shaped polychromatic lithograph and associated items. Artifact 991.97.2 A is the print. It is 53.1 cm. wide by 39.8 cm. high. The front of the item exhibits a multi-coloured image of two long haired pointers which are shown assuming the 'point' position. The two animals are depicted in fromt of a bush in a grassy area. In the lower right hand corner of the image, 'WALTER S ROGERS' appears in white hand written lettering. Artifact 991.97.2 B is a rectangular shaped segment of light brown coloured cardboard. The item is 53.2 cm. wide by 39.7 cm. high by 0.5 cm. thick. On one side of the artifact, 'ZIG ZAG CIGARETTE TOBACCO', 'NETT 20 LBS 1 2', and 'GROSS WT 3' all appear in dark blue print lettering. On the opposing side of the item, 'FRAGILE' appears in hand printed red lettering. Artifact 991.97.2 C id a rectangularly shaped piece of colourless glass. It is 53.3 cm. wide by 39.5 cm. high by 0.4 cm. thick. Artifact 991.97.2 D is a dark brown wooden picture fram. It is 58.0 cm. wide by 44.0 cm. high by 1.8 cm. thick. The front of the item exhibits a flat central area, on either side of which are two rounded 'ridges'. Each of the vertical components exhibits a circular hol in its back surface.PH1 2006 |
