Description : | A circular light green tinted soda-lime (or soda) glass two-piece metal mould (moulded glassware) beer bottle. The base of the item exhibits a shallow concave basal profile, upon which 'MADE IN CANADA' appears in embossed lettering. From the rounded heel, the body portion of the item rises vertically to a champagned shoulder form that in turn continues in a tapered neck shape. This concludes in a crown finish which has a circular bore. Affixed to the body area is an oval shaped cream coloured paper label, upon which 'THE PRINCETON BREWING COMPANY' and 'OLD DUBLIN ALE' both appear in black print lettering. Additional information is also present, and it is similarly in black lettering. Note: Colouration is due to the addition of copper, copper oxides, chromium,or iron in the silicate. Crown finish was invented in 1891 by William Painter. It is formed by either a finishing tool or a machine.PH1 2006 |
