Description : | A large circular colourless soda-lime (soda) glass three-piece mould (moulded glassware) scotch whisky bottle. The artifact's base indicates a flat indentation basal profile. There is an embossed 'A' and an embossed '25' on the base's undersurface. From the rounded heel, the body area of the artifact rises vertically to a rounded shoulder form. From here, a bulged neck-finish area extends upward to a stopper finish that has a circular bore. Affixed to the body portion of the artifact is a large rectangularly shaped paper label, upon which manufacturer and product information appear in both black and gold and red print lettering. Also evident is a multi-coloured representation of the British royal coat of arms, and several black and gold images of circular medals. Note: A lack of colour indicates a silica (sand) which is almost free of iron, and a flux and a stabilizer without noticeable impurities. The bottle is one third full with an amber coloured liquid.PH1 2006 PH3 2008 |
