The undersurface of the artifact's base exhibits a large mamelon basal profile, while from the rounded heel the body portion of the item extends vertically upward to a rounded shoulder form. From here, a cylindrical neck-finish area extends up to a flat top champagne finish that has a circular bore. Affixed to the body portion of the item is a fragment of a diamond shaped paper label, upon which 'CREAM S _ _ _ ' appears in black print lettering. Also affixed to the body area is a circular red paepr label, upon which '_ HORPE'S' appears in white lettering. Note: Green colouration due to the presence of either copper, copper oxide, chromium, or iron in the silicate. The champagne, flat top finish is formed by using a finishing tool.PH1 2006 |
