| Description : | Factory made, white painted washstand with a plain splash back and towel rack. It has an upper drawer with two painted metal plate pull handles. It has two lower hinged doors to one compartment. The right hand drawer has a round wood handle. Rabbet and mortise and tendon joints. Paper label on the back from 'Weiler Bros. Victoria B.C. New Showrooms Cor. Government and Broughton Streets' Hand written on the back is 'To S.A. Rogers Barkerville' 'From Mr. B. Bailey, Ashcroft'. S.A Rogers died 1911 in Barkerville and owned Rogers & Wilson Store. It is the same design as 0997.6.1.PH1 2006 |
