| Description : | A very large, handmade, brown painted kitchen cabinet with two upper doors, each with four panels, with three shelves inside. The left hand door has a toggle handle, the right hand one is missing. Below is a small shelf and then two lower doors, each with four panels. The left hand handle is missing. Note states that originally from rear of Kelly Saloon (nee dining room). Outline in paint on south wall - R. Candy. 'Suspect as early Barkerville made piece - R. Candy'. Tongue and groove edge joints, square and round head nails. Appears to have originally had a wood finish, then green paint, then brown.PH1 2006 |
