| Description : | A wood finished sideboard with serpentine fronted surface which is scratched. It has two upper side by side drawers with serpentine fronts and fancy grained veneer, each with a elaborate brass pull handle and lock. Below is a long, flat faced drawer with two of the same handles and a centre lock. This drawer has the same grain as the rest of the sideboard. All drawers have dovetail joins. Below are two cabinet drawers with large wood cavings at the centre of each one. Each has a key lock. Back/mirror missing. Similar to No. 379 in 1901-1902 Eatons fall/winter catalogue, p. 215.PH1 2006 |
