Description : A loading dock covered with lumber, with a sailing cargo ship alongside dock (four spires visible and life boats). part of this ships name is visible at left edge of print, 'BURY'. To your left of this ship is a smaller sailing ship - four spires. Behind these is a large body of water with land visible in the background and sky above. Two men are standing on the dock just in front of the second spire from your left. The shore line visible on your right shows many small docks and buildings. Top right corner of mat has '19' with six horizontal lines crossing glued on. Typed on this is Type on this is: '. loading lumber at what now Fraser Mills early in century. Nearer vessel may be either Shrewsbury or the Shaftesbury (one of fury ships, anyhow). Beyond her is the Alts. Before the dot starting the quotation is wither the number, '1' or '4' but has been stroked out with black ink. mat has coloured around the edges from ageing.
