Description : a) Blue, green, yellow and red cotton plaid dress. The back bodice is in two sections closed at the centre back placket with 6 pearl buttons and concealed button holes. The bodice is gathered at the waist. The front bodice has an appliquéd bias cut curved section below the high neckline simulating a yoke and a straight panel descending to the waist on the left side trimmed with 4 pearl buttons. The applied pieces are 4 - 4.5 cm wide, and the edge is concealed by white novelty braid 1 cm wide. The sleeves have a 6 cm turned back bias cut cuff trimmed with 2 rows of white braid. The sleeves have a loose oversleeve 19 cm long gathered at the shoulder. The oversleeve is 19 cm long and 19.5 cm wide at the bias cut cuff and is trimmed with one row of white braid. The skirt is in 3 sections. The hem is faced with brown printed cotton and is trimmed with the same white braid. b) The edges of the belt are faced with white braid. There is no fastening.
