Description :	Three piece wool serge dress suit with swallow tails A) The jacket has silk lapels and silk covered woven buttons. The long lapels of the coat are silk covered fabric extending from the lining and 9 cm wide. The collar measures 6 cm. The shoulder seam measures 17 cm and slants slightly to the back. The shoulders are well padded. The closure features a double breasted effect with 3 basket weave silk thread buttons on each side and also 3 false button holes near the edges. The front panels are cut away at the waist and slanted slightly towards the centre front points. The under armscye measures 63 cm. The inset sleeves measure 63 cm overarm and 46 cm underarm The circumference around the sleeve hem is 33 c m. There is a 2 basket weave small button detail at the hem. The centre back measures 100.5 cm with a 49 cm. vent. There are darts starting from the armhole seam curving down past the waist, ending in a button and narrow fold on each of the swallow tail panels. The lining consists of black silk throughout except for the sleeves. B) The pin striped trousers have a 4.5 cm. wide waistband with 3 belt loops in the front. There are 6 inside suspender buttons. The 6 button front fly closure measures 28 cm. including the waistband. There are two 16 cm. slash pockets at the side seam. The side length measures 103 cm. including 4.5 cm. turned back cuff. The inseam is 80 cm. The circumference around the leg hem is 46 cm. The back has 2 belt loops and a 10.5 cm. belt encasing on each side. There are two 13.5 cm. hip pockets. C) The wool vest features long curved rounded lapels which come together in a 3 button closure at centre front. There are two 12.5 x 9 cm deep pockets at the waist level extending from the side seam. The back is made of black system. The garment is lined in cream coloured brushed cotton. Condition: The jacket has some spotting.
