Description : | Cap- wedge dark blue. Crown has accordion pleat. Neck protector and chin strap are folded and secured by hooks to cloth loops on the side. Front left is insignia cap of blacked bronze metal. "A Kings Crown with a scarlet corded silk cap over a maple leaf imposed on the center of leaf the letters C.A.F. Sweatband is beige velvet. Lining is white satin. Plain in the crown and whiten on sides. Inner right side lining "Muir Cap Limited Toronto, Contractors to the Dominion Government. (A) Jacket, blue material. Open collar and notched lapels. Single breasted 4 buttons front. Two breast pockets, patch type with box pleat and single point button down flat. Two side pockets, patch type, with deep accordion pleat and square cut button down flaps. Vented at rear center from belt to skirt edge. A two panel back. Waist belt is stitched to the jacket, with a two prong metal buckle. Sleeve bottoms have a single point cuff. On the shoulders there are rank insignia 3 stars, captain) on the left sleeve above the cuff a brass metal vertical bar. On the left breast above the pocket metal ribbons. There are 10 buttons on the jacket, black, dome type, embossed with Kings crown over a maple leaf over the letters C.A.F flanked by wings. On the back stamped W.Scully Montreal. Full lining of black diagonally ribbed satin. Sleeves are lined with blue and white striped satin. Inner right side a slash type breast pocket. (B) |
