| Description : | a) Sheath - made from unsmoked buckskin, squared section at top, straight down front edge, curved along back edge to a point at bottom. Open rectangular slit in center. Fully beaded in squared section, white background, thin dark blue border along top and a series of dark blue and red triangles along bottom. Large stepped "X" set in white background is green, red, yellow and dark blue. Single triangle at front edge has a dark blue border and a light red interior, beaded design on rear curved section has a white background with a dark blue outer border and a red inner border and dark blue and red squares set in the white. Straight front section is plain. b) Knife - common white man's butcher knife, wooden handle, steel blade, brass rivets in handle. |
