Description : the top consists of a piece of metal rounded at the corners and extending down 9 cm, the frame which consists of two leg-like pieces of iron on either side, is bolted to the top piece, the frame has pointed ends which makes it easier to "stab" the hay, a cross bar, which consists of 2 pieces of iron, 27 cm down from the top, is bolted to the frame, the latch fits just above the cross bar, this is bolted to an iron bar on each side of the fork with a sharp point bolted on the bottom, this is to hold the hay secure in the hay fork, two pieces of rope are attaced to the fork at the top to trip the latch
