| Commentaires : | Mary Allison Doull (1866-1953) was PEI's first professional woman artist. She attended National Academy of Design in New York in 1894 to study painting and pottery. The same year she set up a studio and became well known in New York for her miniature works of art. In 1920, Doull returned to PEI and set up a studio on the island and began experimenting with Prince Edward Island clay. |
