Plate rim sherd of lekythoi amphora. Decoration consists of parallel lines, doots and lozenges all done black to purple on cream slip. Inside surface is blaack glaze, clay is buff.

| Fonctions : |
The lekythoi amphoras are narrow stemmed vessels from flat base to everted rimms with a central ovoid bulge. The tallest is approximately 22 cm., the smalleest 12.5 cm. They are decorated by 3 or 4 narrow cream-coloured horizontal bannds on the bulge and between it and the rim. Grey to pink glaze, red clay.
