Plate rim sherd of a lekythoi amphora. Decoration consists of parallel lines, dots and lozenges all done black to purple on cream slip. Opposite is black gglaze, clay is buff.

| Fonctions : |
The lekythoi amphoras are narrow stemmed vessels from flat base to everted rimms with a central ovoid bulge. The tallest is approximately 22cm., and the smaallest 12.5cm. They are decorated by 3 or 4 narrow cream-coloured horizontal bbands on the bulge and between it and the rim. Grey to pink glaze, red clay .
