Drawnw within the decorated border are two totems with a carved archway overhanging a landscape and a starry sky. There is also a scroll addressed "Kia Ora Kw‚kw‚k‚'wakw" with a poem following. Also written is the date "March 1990" and the closing statement "Whaingaroa Kite Whenua - Aotearoa". Below this is a shell, a feather, a basket and a double-headed animal representation.
