Description : | Iksiktaaryuk's linear graphic style seems to derive from prehistoric engravings on walrus tusk. Figures are shown in profile in a spontaneous manner. There is a sense of exhuberance in this print of the happy image of many caribou. Two over sized birds are humorously placed looking away from the caribou (perhaps at the pursuing hunters). |
