Résumé
This study looked at the effects of reusable adhesives on paper objects, including qualitative analysis of the paper samples used; the research also attempted to identify a successful means of treating the stains. Test samples of various common brands of reusable adhesive were applied to a variety of paper types. All test samples were monitored for changes in appearance. In addition, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) was used to identify the components of selected leading reusable adhesive brands and the stains that resulted from their use.
