- Résumé
- This resource pack is produced with secondary school science, in particular chemistry, in mind. It outlines a range of cross-curricular learning activities that are possible through the close relationship of art and chemistry. For example, The experimental section shows students how to make their own pigments and paints and use them to create a painting of their own. The colour supplement section explains the chemistry of vision and how do we see colour. It also describes the visible spectrum to humans, and what makes coloured objects coloured? The paintings section explains the layer structure of paintings, examples provided are European panel or canvas paintings.
