- This two-stage project involved the examination and analysis of 30 representative potsherds selected by Mapungubwe Museum archaeological curator. Various analytical techniques were used to characterize the ceramic and deposites of these potsherds. This process was followed by testing of chemical methods to remove the deposits from the ceramic.
