- This report discusses the political aspects of museums in the post-colonial world. By applying critical and cultural theory to the discipline of museology, the paper reframes the concepts of culture and ideology. These concepts are applied to the museum setting, focusing in particular on their role in the development of new museological theory and in museum democratization.
