- Surveys different groups of surfactants commonly employed in the cleaning of paint surfaces, and tests the results through a variety of analytical techniques which establish the sensitivity of oil-based paint surfaces to aqueous cleaning. Modifications to aqueous cleaning solutions and methods to render them less harmful are presented, along with discussion of a transportable optical 3-D measuring technology based on micromirrors.
