- Résumé
- Pacific Silvercloth is an effective tarnish preventive material commonly used for protecting silver objects from blackening by atmospheric pollutants. In conservation, Pacific Silvercloth is used to line museum storage and display cases. The cloth is recommended for use by wrapping completely around silver objects, usually in direct contact with them. This project gathers information regarding how Pacific Silvercloth changes with age and the implications of this on silver alloy objects.
