- This paper considers the recent proliferation of the ride-through concept of heritage lnterpretation in the U.K. and argues for the establishment of a new museum typology designated as: "rlde" museum. Through the use of literature searches and case studies, the author attempts to lllustrate that thls "new" museum represents a legitimate, effectlve and successful auxiliary to the traditional museum in its objective of lnterpreting history.
