Résumé
This report examines the present museum and archaeological theories of communication by evaluating two media - the pamphlet (includes booklets as well), and museum exhibit. The publication medium is analyzed through a quantitative content analysis. The exhibit is examined through the relults of two visitor surveys - one at the Museum of Anthropology's Archaeology Gallery, and the other in the Ontario Prehistory Gallery at the Royal Ontario Museum.
