Describes the restoration of a Victorian doll given to Fanny Jack in the 1860s. 60 cm. Long, it has a sawdust stufed body and wax-over-composition head, which had dirt in the cracks. Human hair is attached to a brown fabric wig base. Cleaning of the kid leather hand and arms, wax head and the hair are described with line diagrams.
