Résumé
A stabilizing wax formulation is proposed as an alternative to lacquers for protecting copper, brass, and bronze against atmospheric corrosion and tarnishing. This special wax is based on Renaissance microcrystalline wax and benzotriazole. The photo-oxidation of Incralac lacquer as it relates to its removability was also determined.
