- This field contains the full name of the unit that used the object. A unit, the lowest level in a military organization, is self-accounting and has a commanding officer. Examples include a battalion, regiment, ship, squadron, independent company, air movement unit or battery.

- Entry rules
- Enter the full name of the unit, battalion, regiment, ship, squadron, independent company, air movement unit, battery or vessel name. Enter vessel or ship names in the following format: name first, comma, space and standard abbreviations to describe the type of vessel. Attributed data should be followed by space "?". A semicolon and a space should separate multiple entries.
