The Department of Canadian Heritage is currently working on virtual alternatives that will be offered to its recipients and Canadians for the Celebrate Canada period. These virtual alternatives will be unveiled and made available in June.

Educational items support classroom activities and can be displayed or distributed.
Promotional items support national celebrations and special occasions.
We can ship items only to addresses located within Canada. Availability of items may vary from year to year. We reserve the right to limit quantities.
You must provide information about your event or activity when you order multiple copies of any item.

This means that you will be informed of the purpose for which it is being collected and how to exercise your right of access to that information. You will be asked for your consent where appropriate.
The personal information we collect is required for the administration of your request. You provide this information voluntarily. Your request will be rejected if you do not provide the information. We will also use the information for statistical and reporting purposes. The information is collected under the authority of paragraph 4(2)(a) of the Department of Canadian Heritage Act.
Your personal information is protected under the provisions of the federal Privacy Act. We will retain it for 5 to 7 years. You have the right to access your personal information and you can ask for changes to incorrect information.
