Description: | A movie film editor for 8 or 16mm film. Spools of film were to be hand cranked under a 110 volt bulb, which displayed on screen, by way of mirrors. At the base there is a table for cutting and splicing, with a bottle of film cement. |
Narrative: | The film editor was used in the 1940s-1950s by Wilfrid Nichols, who was a partner in Blaikies Ltd. Auto Dealership, until he retired in 1958 and started up a photo business. |
