Description: | Girl's white cap of fine lawn with decorative applied lace (tape), trimmed with fine lace and worn closed with ties or lappets. Narrow piping between back and front pieces. Casing along back neck edge contains narrow twisted cord that draws the cap in to fit snuggly. All handstitched. Applied very narrow (2mm) cotton tape forms a design of leaves and flowers that travel over the complet area of alwn. Lace very delicate (applique lace, Belgium) that forms two rows along front edge. |
