Description: | Large 3 gallon open mouth cylindrical crock of earthenware with two ears near the top rim. The rim is 1 inch deep and rounded outwards. There are several incised lines below the rim. The inside has a dark brown glaze. |
History of Use: | This crock was imported by T.L. Harvey who had a store with Rupert E. Harris called Crystal Palace Grocery on the SE corner of Gaspereau and Main Sts. which burned in 1915 . T.L. Harvey was mayor of Wolfville from 1909 -1911 |
