Description: The postcard is a photograph of a covered bridge over a river. A sign above the entrance says "No more than one truck allowed on bridge at any time". A title is written on the photo.
Narrative: This is the covered bridge over the Gaspereau River between Hortonville and Avonport, at the mouth of the Gaspereau. It was built in 1876 and blown up by dynamite in 1952. Within twenty-four hours a temporary bridge was in place.
