Description: | The angled desktop provided an easier platform for writing on than a flat top. The desktop can also be raised to reveal an area in which materials could be stored, with two drawers also inside. On each side of the desk are four drawers for storage, and the small flat piece of wood at the very top of the desk also opens to reveal a partitioned storage area. |
Narrative: | This desk was owned by Bishop Howley and was used in his residence for his own personal use. It may have been used by Bishop Howley when he was writing one of his books. |
