Narrative: | Belonging to a member of the Canadian Rangers. The Rangers were a sub-component of the Canadian Forces (CF). They would provide patrols and detachment for employment in sparsely settled Northern, Coastal and isolated areas that cannot easily be patrolled by other components of the CF. It was established in 1947. |
