Description: Straight razor used for shaving, polished cutting blade with silver/cream handle. Blade folds into handle to protect the blade and also the user from injury.
History of Use: Used by the Buckley family in Bayswater NB. Straight razors require considerable skill to hone and strop, and require more care during shaving. These methods were once a major portion of the curriculum in barber colleges.
