| Description : | The rock is made of granite, and is grey and quite heavy. There are felt markers attached to the handle. |
| Fonctions : | The first curling rink was built in Vegreville in 1908. Curling became a popular sport in the community. A rink with three sheets of ice was built in 1932 and one with six sheets of ice was built in 1954. A local history book states that "curling is a real gentlemen's game, and has added immeasurably to the community spirit. |
