Description : The plane is made entirely of wood. There is a wooden holder where the user can grasp the plane with one hand to keep it stable. The base of the plane is rectangular in shape, with one end of the plane rounded, while the other end is square. The mouth of the plane houses an iron piece, about 0.5 cm thick, that is sharpened on one end. The sharpened end extends out of the mouth of the plane and is used to shape wood. The iron piece is kept in place by a wooden block approximately 1.5 cm. thick.
Commentaires : The iron blade of the plane is held into place with a wooden wedge and it is adjusted by striking the plane with a hammer.
