Description : The cross is black in colour with a round base, allowing it to stand on a flat surface instead of being hung on a wall. A likeness of Jesus has also been attached to the front of the cross, and has been painted dark gold in colour. This likeness has been damaged, however, as it has been cracked just above the ankle area on both legs.
Commentaires : This cross was displayed in the home of Martin Williams Sr. of Ferryland, Newfoundland for veneration purposes.
Fonctions : This cross was originally displayed in the home of Martin Williams Sr. of Ferryland, Newfoundland. After Mr. Williams' passing, it was given to his great, great grandson, Lee Dunne, who later donated it to the Historic Ferryland Museum.
