| Description : | Two custom stamps that were used in the Custom House in Trinity in 1809. They were used for stamping goods that were imported from other countries. Both stamps are made of wood with a brass bottom of different designs. One stamp is brown with a round-shaped top and the brass bottom has a stripe like pattern. The other stamp is black with an oval-shaped top and the brass bottom has a spiked shape pattern. Originally, there was a set of three, but one is missing. |
