Description : The color is black and gold. It is shaped like a long feather with strands sticking off the end. It feels like hard plastic. A humpback whale has baleen instead of teeth. Whales that do not have teeth have two rows of baleen plates that hang from their upper jaws. The baleen hangs down inside of the whales mouth and its purpose is to filter out food such as plankton for the whale to eat when the whale opens its mouth to take in water. The baleen is starting to crack along the edge on the wider part.
