| Description : | Nine, brown perforated heel savers that range in size from 1-3/4 to 2.8. They are oval-shape with a square top. A Cobbler (Shoemaker) attached the heel saver with small nails to a shoe or boot when the heel was deteriorating. A Cobbler or Shoemaker is a person who makes and repairs shoes either damaged in manufacturing or from recurring use. Operating a stitching machine or stitching by hand he/she could repair broken or missed stitches and replace parts. |
