Description : | The artifact is a crosscut saw. The handle of the saw is brown and has one large screw and two smaller screws. The handle is shaped to enclose the hand like a modern hand saw. Every second tooth of the blade is cut into two small sections. There is a hole at the other end of the saw for a second handle. Because of the saws length it took two men to operate it. These saws were used for cutting wood in the lumber industry. |
