Description : | The jiggers consists of a red lead weight, protruding from which are a series of tiny, upward-curving hooks. A string is tied around the other end of the jigger which would be wrapped around a rectangular wooden spool. Lettering "Neyles Patent" is engraved on one side and "Pins Firm" is engraved on the other side. Invented years ago by the firm "Neyles Soper" which was located at 270 Water Street, St. John's. The model is still in possession of the firm. |
