| Description : | The artifact is a foghorn. The foghorn is red with a rectangular shape and a canvas handle. There is an iron pump handle on the back for sound to come out. It has a copper plate stating manufactured by Power Bros. Limited, Lunenburg, N.S. Hand operated foghorns were in use on vessels owned and operated in Newfoundland before and after the 1900's. |
