Description : The concertina is a portable musical instrument of the accordion family. It consists of bellows with a set of finger-studs at each end, controlling the valves which admits wind to the free metallic reed. The instrument was used mainly by fishermen as a means of providing some entertainment on ships, when they would be at sea for an extended time period, as well as for concerts and dances.
